Gnarls Barkley "Gone Daddy Gone" Dir: Chris Milk

chrismilk.com
Chris Milk takes Gnarls on a microscopic journey of love, death and household peril. Chuck Jones would be proud.

Chris Milk is talented and thoughtful director. I have liked almost everything he has done. He did a John Cougar Menstrualcramp video with "little people" that was cool as f*^k. chrismilk.comThe guy rarely works, which is a great way to do things - picking and choosing the type of artist and music he wants to be involved with. Most directors don't have the guts (or the lack of financial need) to pull off this kind of career.
PS - bug sex is freaky deaky.

All them cats from SIGGRAPH '92 are like, So? Let the Gnarls Backlash begin. I had to mute it. Turned "Astral Weeks" back on, and thunk to myself how Van Morrison would get cartooned up if he had to make videos today. Probably come out looking like the fat bug.
