yeah I REALLY liked that. First too much hype, then early reviews weren't great. It's a really solid video from a (IMO) uneven director.But this has been done before:

still it felt fresh. Funny, cool, charming.

funny: when the skeletons are running at eachother in slow-mo and smash into each other on the beach.I really have been unhappy with Burton's work since Mars Attacks - I HATED Big Fish & Planet of the Apes. Choco Factory was okay. But I was really skeptical about this.

Lets be honest. This is well below par for the money and the talent involved. The Killers are O.K but what is Brandon doing with that f***ing limp tash on his lip, IDIOT! The Chemicals brothers video has better effects and that was made in '99, have we not come on since then. Also if you are going to dare to use Ray Harryhausen's timeless genius in your video you should at least attempt to match his work with stop frame animation and not opt for dull and frankly poor 3D work - no matter how long it takes.
Also an uninspiring in choice of location The Killers have already shot one video in a desert with a large back projected screen, making it a drive-in doesn’t wash for me. The humour is also weak, as is the compositing. Sorry Tim stick to the movies.
