Ellen Allien/Apparat - Way Out (by marcotestoni on www.flux.tv)
From an artistic contest on www.flux.tv, here comes the videomaker whose promo has been chosen to represent "Way Out", the hypnotising electro-beat hit from Ellen Allien & Apparat's album "Orchestra of Bubbles". FLUX doesn't stop here: coming up next, the possibility to become the official directors of artists such as Four Tet, Whitest Boy Alive, Giardini di Mirò and many more.
and wet t-shirts?
I couldn't get an idea together in time to make something for this. I'm glad something won that had allot of effort put into it.
I like that a lot. Nice work. I can't remember a single video that was animated in watercolors - even in the 80's and during the Liquid Television days. It was fun combing through my brain though.. I love animated vids.
Only This Island Earth's backgrounds come to mind.
flux: Can we get a copy that's not flash based?
If anybody finds Was (Not Was) "Hello Dad... I'm in Jail" online, let me know. ;)
Whoops, guess all I had to do was search antville. I found Hanne Hukkelberg, Smog, Casiotone, and Grizzly Bear. And I think TBM's Datsuns "MF From Hell" used some too. But none of them as wonderfully messy as this.
sonn it'll be broadcasted on the italian MTV network (mtv italy, mtv brand new, mtv flux) and online on bpitch website. enter our competitions to give your support
