that was awesome!! i wonder how good/bad the effects look on a tv or quicktime but this was so much fun. good show, dougal!

         

Not just best of the year, maybe one of the best videos of all time (yikes!).

         

This might trump Bonnie "Prince" Billy in the narrative category (that was a joke, to be sure). Very nice.

         

Not to take anything away from it because I thought it was quite an entertaining video, well done, but I feel like like all these videos with additive audio kind of kills the song, and can be be a little distracting and sometimes annoying/. It also almost seems like these directors want to be focused more on narrative/fiction films. Just wanted to throw that out there. Solid vid tho.

         

Exactly what a music video should do. Works with the artist and song perfectly. As for the incidental sound, you HAVE to have it for this idea to work so well...

Boey, normally I agree with you--usually, videos with added sounds running over the music feel like cheating to me. This one worked so perfectly, though, I didn't mind.

         

it wasn't bad. 3.5 stars.
