Meditations on a theme - Warning: Link may disappear
Scotland, beautiful.
Very very beautiful. But there's a big disconnect between imagery and song. It's less of a "meditation on a theme" and more of a collage of timelapse footage. It could've added up to a lot more (ref: Koyaanisqatsi) but ended up being much less than its potential. At times felt too much like visual noise and/or background imagery you'd see at a concert.
I agree there's a disconnect, but I'm just grateful for footage like this at any time anyway.
If someone out there feels like bothering, perhaps you can sync the vid to a better track for us?
Yes, I always appreciate footage like this as well, although the timelapse footage at the end of Thom Yorke's 'Harrowdown Hill' blow's my mind much more than this.
My fave is Lacquer.
great images mostly, scotland i suppose? agree with the others, its not really a music vid for me although you tried to tie in the music with the images using the timewarps here and there...timelapse always amazes me, so good work...
