Seventeen Evergeen "Haven't Been Yourself (Lucky Number Music)", Dir. Encyclopedia Pictura
Super job.
great stuff
For anyone interested...the climax at the end was done with this stuff called ferro fluid, which is a magnetic liquid. The guys posted the raw footage, shot on a photron camera, here:
The video will be in the next Promo Magazine, as well as in the March issue of Special Ten.
Grizzly Bear will be done in a few days....
ferrofluid is all the rage.
oh, and: you've got to premiere grizzly here, guys...
Sorry, but Grizzly Bear will be premiering over at Stereogum, the ones who have been covering it from the beginning.
You'll be able to get your hands on it soon enough.
Prediction: Ferro fluid is to 2007 what stop-motion was to 2006.
niiice. It reminds me of that terribly scary 80s horror movie Society. Has anyone seen that? I saw it as a kid and I thought I had dreamed it up.
dep: drats. i hope you'll at least make it a whopping quicktime instead of the 'gum's usual lazyarse u2b's. (e.p.: demand crisp detail!)
don't worry progosk, we'll hook you up. but enough about grizzly bear, enjoy this one while it's fresh.
Wow, and hometown heros ta'boot. Beautiful work!
I'm Kveling! Makes me proud to be part of Ghost Robot.
super dope. A modern medieval vision which corresponds well to the idea that we are entering a new middle ages:
Excellent vid dudes.
Traktor did a promo a bit like that back in the days
Layo & Bushwacka "Love Story" - also felt like Bjork "Where is the Line"
loved all the wide stuff, started off realy nicely but got lost in the middle section with bodies in suits. did anyone ever see an MTV spot directed by Michael Patrick Jann 'Manzelles' ....
felt like this could have been better!!
just incredible!!!!
This is what that Bob Ross title for Wii should be like. (Antonioni Everywhere. Zabriskie Point for the win!)
