liminal.
difficult song. moments of genius! I love the underwater footage.
Love it! @ progosk: What do you mean by "Liminal"?
borderline, in more sense than one.
reminds me of some work from bill viola. e.i. The Crossing, 1996. www.billviola.com. reading through wiki-definition (s.o.). I would consider it rather "liminoid".
That was some kind of awesome. Especially the zoom in on the door; it was so confidently crappy, it works. I need this album. -j
Beautiful and ornery.
This is so fuckin awesome. Holy shit guys. Quite possibly the best of the year.
What else has Haesleer done?
Kurt d'Haeseleer "Kurt d’Haeseleer (b.1974) studied Modern History at K.U. Leuven and Audiovisual Arts at the high school of arts Sint-Lukas in Brussels. As a member of the artist collective ‘De Filmfabriek’ he has produced various video sceneries for theatrical and opera plays, as well as his very own hybrid of video, installation and performance. In his work he explores digital effects as capsular environments for narrative experiences and controlled illusions. With the aesthetics of minimalist electronic music as a source of inspiration, he shapes an organic world out of tactile sounds and pointillist images, far out and at the same time almost physically tangible."
five minutes to get anything like a life you'd be better off with the subliminal I guess
