with bands like this that take themselves so seriously, i guess its kinda tricky to do something worthwhile. some of the styling (hearse, coffin) was nice, the lighting during the performance was good, and boobs will be boobs.c-dub, 1. April 2007, 10:07
um.that was some other shit. wow! I felt that this video was not to be taken seriously at all. I like the fact that this video is at least memorable. I had a real problem with the dissolves in the beginning. The lighting of the band during the performance was decent. Man this was so bad and yet i loved it!
That really sounded like chris cornell.

Is there an on-air edit?freshhead, 1. April 2007, 18:52
this reaffirms my belief that at least 95% of the time a video is only as good as the song. It's well shot, you've got plenty of slo-mo boobs, and I could care less. Seriously...who actually cares at all. would anyone watch this twice? I will say...having the lead singer jump out of the coffin with automatic rifles in each hand was hilarious.hakai, 1. April 2007, 19:20
kev: no on-air edit. its not meant to be taken seriously. how could you take this serious? anyway... this was pretty low budget. yeah he does sound like chris cornell. I know this isn't the type of video that antvillians like but you got to admit there is an audience for this stuff.freshhead, 1. April 2007, 19:35
"...you got to admit there is an audience for this stuff." True...very true.spit, 1. April 2007, 20:01

It's not suitable for anyone over the age of 18 either.. or anyone with taste for that matter!Hopefully the band wasn't taking this seriously. However the expression of the lead singer as he wields that axe at the end suggests he thinks this is awe inducing stuff.
And it's to be continued too.. aren't we lucky??!!

Damn I miss Sound Garden.antdude, 1. April 2007, 23:21
Crap indeed! And of course NSFW.captainmarc22, 1. April 2007, 23:47
April Fools!!okay, where's the real video?

Reminds me of a million different -sploitation movies of the "grindhouse" variety crossed with everything Uwe Boll has done in the last five years. If the midnight movie thing is intentional it's actually a pretty savy move since grindhouse is about to spread some attention on the category in the upcoming weeks.Storywise, it would have helped to establish the villain in the beginning instead of just tacking him on at the end and then instantly killing him. What're the stakes? That kind of thing. But yeah, boobs.
(also, nice cgi)

While this music or style is not my taste, I think Hakai does a great job for this type of band. At least it's not some boring warehouse video.I give him props for totally going over the top for this video. I think he totally understands his audience and if I were a metal band i would want him to make my video.tblunt, 2. April 2007, 05:43
seriously. for what it is, it's kinda great.lex halaby, 2. April 2007, 10:57
Niiice. The video aims for pulp action and succeeds. You can't take it too seriously guys, just watch it on mute and enjoy the partial nudity.loz, 2. April 2007, 14:05
who gives these people money? just makes me angry; i know 'there's an audience for it', sure there's an audience for any porn, and porn is porn, and there's plenty of websites, but that doesn't mean it makes a good video. and my arse they're going for tongue-in-cheek / not taken seriously.i know i know - it's not my kind of music, but it's still crap, and still makes me angry when i look at the production money they've (literally) spunked up the wall on it...

Aside from the fact that there is indeed an audience for this (which is true)...it was just about the most fun I've ever had. (For obvious and not so obvious reasons.) At very least, we created a mood (with a small budget and a lot of favors) and, hopefully, took you for a bit of a ride. AND, if anyone does takes this video seriously, they're in the wrong business.
