This really makes me think of Take on Me for some reason. Which makes me think that mv may just barely be coming full circle, returning to its low-budget, experimental roots.In many ways this vid encapsulates all that I ever really found inspiring about MTV, from those early vids thru Liquid Television and on.. While this vid isn't 100% solid, there really isn't anything as good out there right now, at least for the nostalgics. This is incredible material.

GREAT! Agree with Chatters about the hand drawn bit tho. Even tho it's supposed to be his memory it somehow doesn't quite do it for me. Just because it lacks theb ehem.. noir elegance (sorry that was poncy) and strength of the rest.
Would love to understand more about the tribal imagery at the end. What is this all about? Maybe I should watch again...
