Lil' Mama "Lip Gloss" dir. by R. Malcolm Jones
17-year old soon-to-be superstar...a nice minimalist beat...some fun choreography...
Ha! It's like the coolest advert in the world for Lancome Juicy Tubes . Love the school thing. If only school had ever been this good....
yes
Great :) I'll guess Lenny Bass.
I think it's directed by Malcom Jones. That handclap section is just so cool. It's like Missy Elliott meets High School Musical.
It's pretty awseome for a kiddie pop song, I could like the video if they hadn't used all those cg lip gloss effects.
i agree the lip gloss effect looked too much like from a commercial. but i loved all the more subtle compositing tricks like changing the boom box while the dancers remain live action..
minimalist is an understatement... what they can't afford a fucking bass player?
i love the bit with the bang - bangs on the table and stuff, but the song and the video are Terrible! We need to stop this shhhh!
Man, that was super fun! great energy and creativity. Cant find who directed it. Everything was poppin except the "it was you all along, baby" tag at the end....
this video makes me happy. i know its mad dumb. and it isnt going to change anything. but i think thats okay. the dancing is so fresh, in that 3 years ago way thats so good. if i was in high school, id watch this on repeat, practice all these moves and be like "yo, wus up" at the next dance.
R. Malcolm Jones is correct! Though I guess he's going by Malcolm Jones nowadays? This got added to MTV & BET so look out, America. It's finally happening!
