Noisettes "Scratch Your Name" Dir: Sarah Chatfield
cool band, cool track, cool director, cool video.
nice.
Atmospheric and intriguing, totally right for the band. Really lovely nuances in performace from the artist. Chatfield's Lily Allen video is probably my fave of the year - and this is an admirable follow up.
I am sick to the back teeth of seeing 33 Portland Place as a location.

and thousands more I don't care to try and recall. Would the British music video industry please have a moratorium on using this hackneyed venue.
No reflection on this video I hasten to add.

We know where you are, British location scouts - link
nice. and a fine array of shoulderpads to boot
portland place offers somewhere with shabby grandeur in zone one that's also geared up for video crews and a quick turnaround
still point taken
now that you mention it that place does look familiar, what else has been shot there?
Off the top of my lil' head most recently
Mutya Buena "Real Girl" Amy Winehouse "Rehab" Lil' Chris "Checkin It Out" Sirens "Why" Mylo "Muscle Cars" The Streets "When You Wasn't Famous remix"
well carried, this; makes the band a lot less annoying than their other vids (strength o' track helps). for a second i thought she was going to take her hairdo off at the end.
Grace Jones would be proud.
does it really matter about the location? the video works really well and thats the main thing. great band. great video. nice.
exactly - who gives a stuff about the location, this is a wicked video, simple as that. Completely matches the tone of the song and the lead singer has never looked so hot... love it.
it feels a bit "single take video 101". Nothing new or very original - just rehashing the same old tricks. Still, well executed.
I think this is my favourite Sarah Chatfield video. I just love the art direction and styling. Add the camera moves on top of that and you have an extremely well directed music video! Great stuff.
