looks like it's for real this time, so:

1. what features would make antville awesomer? (think structural; post in the comments here, and i'll forward to tobi.)

2. it's a community thang - donations are where it's at. (or forever forgo your bitching rights.)

I mentioned this in another thread, but I think it would be great if there were a kind of live ticker that showed the latest items from some of the other sites that antvillians frequent. shots ring out, 30f, video static, obtusity, videology etc. While I love what all of these sites do, often times their posting here pushes videos further down and sometimes even off the page.

It may also be interesting to be able to check how many views a single post gets, and could perhaps help decide on monthly and yearly tops lists.

YouTube (and some other Flash embeds) get 'cut off' on the right side. Anybody else get that?

vs: Might run into too many legal/political/technical issues with a ticker from other sites. Too much maintenance.
         
Would love to see more than 3 or 4 words in the "most recent" posts list. Almost might be nice to see what posts the comments are being posted on. I find the search to usually not be too helpful, so maybe some revision to that. Lastly, would be great if as a user you could "ADD VIDEO AS FAVORITE" so if I ever want to just browse through my favorites from the site I can do it easily. But most of all, if it's not broke then dont fix it...so with many features I wouldn't change a whole lot.
         
i just fixed the cut off youtube videos. the main content area is now 25px wider. it was 400px and youtube videos are usually 425px.

-Yea I think threaded comments a la Slashdot.com would be an improvement.

-Also, the ability to dig up/down stories on the main page.
(And: If you look at Digg.com on the right hand side there's a nice little Top 10 list of top Dugg stories that gives you an idea of what's been hot recently at-a-glance.)

-A little middle finger icon that gets added next to youtube links :)

But don't change it too much, it rocks!
         
Could we get some sort of widget that would automatically flag Gondry-esque music videos? That would save me a lot of time.

summit that would highlight the last post u read in 'recent comments' so u wouldn't loose track if n when u need to plough tru the read ones again
