yyy's are simply my favorite band going at the moment. I almost like this better than their recent glossy videos. Spike Jonze vid is still my fave though.

mov Yeah Yeah Yeahs made a live film to accompany their forthcoming "Is Is" EP with co-directors Lance Bangs and KK Barrett (production designer on all of Spike Jonze's and Sofia Coppola's feature films, former drummer for the 1970s punk band The Screamers). Recorded in night-vision at Brooklyn's Glasslands Gallery on May 7, the band played 2 sets that night to just 100 lucky fans each time – the first for a mixed audience and the second for females only. There will be 2 filmed versions of lead track "Down Boy" – one live, and one to EP audio.

not impressed. i kept waiting around for something to happen but it was just a boring live performance video, not visually enticing or anything.
