I thought that looked pretty cool! simple yet stylishsetanor, July 8, 2007 6:40:54 AM CEST
i liked it better than the contest winner, but i think it would have been better if it was exactly the same but without the robots.sure it might not keep people's attention in the you tube era, but fuck 'em. i'll take evocative and hypnotic over clever and front-loaded any day.

that's really beautiful.probably suffered from similarity to gondry's chemical brothers..

i loved the robots - halfway between cute and menacing. end sequence with the reflection dropping out was particularly nice (didn't figure out what happened until the image started to look normal, then the rose/missile explosion in distance... lurrrvely).
wicked wicked wicked.

I know I posted this, but I love this video, with or without the robots. I like that it is a simple art piece without performance footage. I'd love to know where it was filmed.kevathens, July 9, 2007 12:26:09 AM CEST

Wow. Really nails the track well. Aside from the robots....To elaborate, I think they are conceptually good. But they are just flat images lifted from elsewhere. And they are recognizable as brands, such that a ninja turtle might feel similar.

Good question. I think they break it up fairly effectively. As to the whole train thing, Star Guitar anyone?
