this needed:1. a more stringent narrative. (car? paper? a self-indicting environmental-impact-of-a-video-story could have been excellent, but this just meanders.)

If this video is costing the earth then maybe he should have at least made something interesting and orriginal. How many more of these pretentious "facts and figures" videos does the earth have to endure?
