cool. i like the drumming with ribbons a lot, and the other instrumental bits (piano stairs etc), and yes it helps that the singer is unfeasibliy cute (anyone else thinking Delphine Seyrig in 'Mr. Freedom'?)... but sometimes feels, well, a little wimsical?
also, the effects shots were pretty unecessary - better to just let it be straight up.
but i'm being over-harsh: it works, you see them, it's got a nice feel, they're a girl band and they're not being made to dance in front of a low-angle camera next to an expensive car. so cool
Yeah another good one. Very charming and yes not Wilson Phillips.
..I have no idea what's going on here or here, but they're awesome anyway.
Very much enjoyed this. A good example of how a nice video can help out a rather ok song. I also felt that the FX shots didn't belong there. The drummer with the ribbon and girl hopping in rhythm on the steps were such nice moments. The replacement animation of the band and composite shots really pulled me out. So really liked it but would be a stronger video without the FX :)
cutest girl evah
Its funny to hear this, because the orginal edit is without the FX and I had a real hard time to choose to include or not. I really like them but they gain almost too much attention in comparison with the rest that is (if I may say it myself) strong analog ideas that is much stronger than the FX ones. So Im thinking of uploading the orginal first edit I made. tx for all the nice words.
Really great video, saw it last week when a friend forwarded to me (and almost posted it here but forgot). Simple, well-shot, well-edited, pretty. But I agree with everyone else - the FX are out of place, they feel unnecessary.
nice fresh feel not sure I agree wiv quixo or loz regardin' the ribbon girl, seemed more like she woz reigning in a horse or summit, that said it woz the only momentary blip in this cool quirky clip
unfortunately I am unaware wot kev's post is about, 'coz the above is the only screen cap that appear on his links Which brings me to another point the link whilst it opened to the url The file extension refused to load in ffx I had to use IE and pull the .mov from my temporary internet folder to watch it!
nice. cute. well done.
