Jennifer Lopez - 'Do It Well' - Dir: David LaChapelle
I believe this is the lead off single and vid from Lopez' new album. I don't know about you but I got 3/4 way through before I couldn't handle anymore...
his videos are always fun.... there's nothing super new here but damn if it isn't a LaChapelle video.
same old tricks. boredom.
Seems like David LaChapelle videos always more about David LaChapelle than they are about the artist. Of course the casual viewer doesn't know who the fuck David LaChapelle is.
The obligatory cell phone video shot early on = yawn
No, it's not very interesting... but it is the best cast, designed and composed studio shoot I've seen for ages
definitely nothing new here. It look dated and tacky. He hasn't progressed
better than paul hunter's "nicole" video, but that isnt saying much.
nothing new and she looks less glamorous than in any of her previous videos. they got her in all those moo-moos. she looks fat.
framescourer's comment was spot on when i watched the vid
what's with the two curly bangs on her face?
this entire thing is tragic. she's playing some heroic, asian-boy-slavewasher-rescuer, when really, between takes, she was throwing empty bottles of evian at her fur-minder and doing everything in her power not to strangle dave when he dared direct her.
ugh. she's worthless.
I personally believe that aside from the 'This train don't stop" video, LaChapelle never really made the successful leap to vid director.
