LCD Soundsystem - "Someone Great" (dir. Doug Aitken)
Great song. Great video.
Via Pitchfork.
brought to you via ipod.
touching in memoriam. (interesting how you can visualise her face in certain moments.)
Similar approach used in albertin's solvent video.
Tis really effective when she walks off and into the room of hyper travel imagery (2:20).
Shot in and around Brooklyn. The crazy packed used record store featured here is The Thing.
FAM: Are you now brooklyn based or are u still in canada?
New York but not Brooklyn. Lower east side. :)
i like the design and tone, definitely some good moments in there. but i found it pretty anti-climatic and was hoping for it to grow or pay off in some way.
overall very flat and uninteresting. i didn't see one good "moment" in this vid.
ditto boey. It's like a day in the life of an iPod person when they're not dancing. Strangely touching.
buncha cynics.
This is really great. Totally un try-hard with a beautiful tone
"Someone great" is gone! Anyone find another source?
This whole pulling videos thing is bullshit.
buncha lazies: lcdmotion
