Feist: I feel it all (Dir.: Patrick Daughters)
The official video for "I Feel It All" directed by Patrick Daughters for Interscope Records.

i'm floored that they would do an "official" release in such utterly shit quality. wtf, feist? patrick?
i stopped watching a third of the way through.
I enjoy this more than 1,2,3,4
Holy crap. Fireworks. Now THAT is an interesting way to interpret a song like this. Honestly, anyone else would have messed this up bad. Nice job Mr. Daughters.
However, perhaps after this one, we could move on with the one-shot videos.
johnny beat me to it.
...definetly the poor man's cochise...
Who cares if other videos have done the fireworks idea. The concept works for a song like this.
absolutely brilliant. wow.
unlike the other videos, the fireworks in this video are actually choreographed to the song..
great video
I like a lot of Daughters work, but found this a little boring and didn't think it fused well with the song. Definately liked 1, 2, 3, 4, better.
if it wasnt patrick and feist no one would like this. "absolutely brilliant" come on
Okay…
Assuming something like that isn’t very logical.
Like a lot of us on this site, I love a lot of his videos. Does that mean everything he releases is gold? No. Personally I hate the Hot Knives video, the Interpol one, and I never cared for 1234.
This could have been under Hype Williams and I still would have loved it.
The Fireworks are sync to the music, thats the difference between this and other fireworks videos. I also liked how Daughters manages his Handycam aesthetic despite the camera being on a crane.
The fireworks in the Digitalism single are synched to the music, albeit in post. That one doesn't work though - the idea's ineffective for electronica. The Audio Slave track's better suited but the idea's spent the moment the first flare goes off.
I can't decide whether Daughters' video is brilliant or not. Leslie Feist is more interesting than any of the displays, I'd love to have heard some of the shoot sound in the mix and the dollying to have been a bit steadier, yahdy-yah... I think it's great though, almost exhilarating
a nice video, though the idea of using fireworks really isn't the freshest. on the otherhand, lots of other videos capture the explosions from big distance. think sparkling fireworks from this close are something different...
nicely coordinated & fun enuf. yeh, camera work and her run-arounds seemed a little haphazard, still: cute.
(thx w)
incidentally: inspired by this?
Terrific performance video, great juxtaposition with lyrics. Simple in appearance but very tricky camera, fireworks and performance choreography... and which kept a spontaneity and thrill to the event. Daughters can pull it off!
I fucking love it. Plus, it looks marvelously dangerous.
dont get me wrong a Patrick Daughters video is never bad...but that Graham Handford vid posted by Progosk beats this effort hands down.
Thanks for putting the mov up. Whole new experience (noticed the explosions in the sound mix this time round too). Wonderful
Cut! Ok, that was good.. back to number ones!
Wasn't so sure at first... but then she started running. Great, really.
jesus what the fuck happened to you? way to make feist look completely retarded
and then i read your comments and very confused at the positive reactions. i have nothing but praise for patrick daughters as a director but this was SHIT!!! what are you all thinking?
Perdy lights. Perdy girl. Can't complain.
don't agree. this is great. simultaneously bombastic and intimate. she's one of the few that can pull off a one shot performance. and it's technically brilliant.
like it too. song sounds like i am kloot.
Yawn, bombastic yawn.
Done over a year and a half ago, this time the fireworks actually work in the narrative. This is an actual place 45 minutes outside of Vegas.
I have to agree with someone on here. Feist, as much as I am pretty well tired of that album by this point, knows how to make a one shot work. She is easy to watch.
Lo-fi is always nice.
great video. always good to see something different.
absolutely fantastic. love her relationship with the camera and the forced awkwardness between picture & sound.
Great video.
daughters on the shoot.
