well, i admire the effort; and this really isn't THAT bad.... but the whole idea of singing over a speech is like listening the radio with CNN on... ya know, kind of sounds like a mess.

         

Id try to think less of this as a music video and more a message of support. Just as Edward Kennedy has come out to let America know where his vote goes. And though Obama has my vote without with the backing of Hollywood to convince me, there are still thousands upon thousands of voters who might not make their way to the polls unless a certain message RINGS HOME LOUD & CLEAR.

quixoticnyc, I agree. This was something that will.i.am and Jesse Dylan came up with because they were moved by what Obama had to say. And they put it together in a short amount of time without any help from the campaign. Because of that, I don't think it's like other celebrity-driven efforts where you lobby all the biggest names to come out for good PR. The people in this video are those who, like will.i.am and Jesse, truly felt passionate about this and wanted to express that to the world.

it's really not that hard to grasp what antville is about. put your posting and commenting fingers on hold, and have a look and a read around. try searching "faves" and then look at the videos that are listed - that should give you an idea of the kind of stuff the antville crowd is interested in. you'll notice there's quite a range of stuff. see if it interests you enough to stick around. if it doesn't, then please think again about posting multiple links to videos that ARE NOT music videos, and about commenting randomly left right & centre. this is not about youtube, it is not about america, nor is it about you. for chrissakes: you're barking up the wrong tree. quit it.
