PNAU "Baby" (Dir. James Littlemore)

This'll be one of 2008's most blogged about bands. Their latest album is incredibly solid. The video's a little flimsy, but it gets the job done.

best use of ghost costume since Frontier Psychiatrist.texasflanger, March 18, 2008 12:11:10 AM CET
Overall i find this song and video very nauseating. However I do like the combination of live action and stopmotion but referring this in anyway to frontier psychiatrist is offensive.

ditto progosk. i was all caught up in the gooey goodness of the whole thing when it jarringly ended like that. what gives, pnau?alabama, March 18, 2008 12:44:38 PM CET
Reminds me of that freshmint TVC (cant remember the name exactly) with similar little CG food characters following people around.vedgal, March 18, 2008 1:35:35 PM CET
One would think with the incredible sound spawned from the gifted Pnau collective, an incredible promo would accompany such an anthemic track, but to my shocked discovery I suddenly saw this! Why is it that so often quality music just keeps finding the wrong pair of hands to craft its image? Working in the UK, I have been hearing quite a bit of these guys lately and am sure they will prosper very well here. I wouldn't doubt for a second that this clip would be remade in a heartbeat to cater for an international audience. I have seen some real quality come from the shores of Australia, but unfortunately this one doesn't join the nest. One of the biggest anti-climax moments I've experienced with a video. This track offered so much potential to be something memorable for the small screen, but now my attention awaits Pnau's next installment. I just hope they can re-build after this pitiful effort for a promo.gatzby, March 19, 2008 3:33:56 AM CET
I agree with vedgal, an absolute travesty. A real shame, its a fine track too. Does anybody know which hack directed this?sharpiesharpesharpe, March 19, 2008 7:12:56 AM CET

why all the haters? this was an annoying track but a pretty awesome weirdass video.vidbot, March 19, 2008 9:28:42 AM CET
Let em have a spray its the way of things.vedgal, March 19, 2008 3:13:58 PM CET
Haters? No, more like constructive criticism - this is just plain BAD not worthy of a detailed explanation. And to discover its source of inspiration was a chewing gum tvc, well what more can I say?To answer your question gatzby it seems like this hack could be this littlemore character as pointed out by vidbot. Obviously a relative of one half of Pnau. No evidence on the site as yet apart from a mention.
