Tapes n' Tapes - Hang Them All (Jonnie Ross)
More harsh words about this abominable video at SRO

wow, that's rough. I watched this yesterday and sat through the whole thing, which is more than I can say for 90% of the videos here. It's unique, and pretty well done. My only qualm was that the lead guy was about 3 steps too broad. But otherwise, the whole thing was loopy fun.
100% narrative videos with clear plotlines and characters are very much the minority these days.

I agree with Cap'n. Some really fun moments and great pacing throughout. Well made for what I'm sure was a tiny budget.tinnitusfilms, April 30, 2008 10:11:48 PM CEST
i think it's really good. Original story and satisfying payoff. Didn't mind the broad characterization. Thought it worked.r-dogg, May 1, 2008 2:51:42 AM CEST
I'm on the Captain's ship. It certainly has its flaws, but there are also some elements I really enjoy. Although I have to admit that I've always found the concept of the 97¢ store hilarious.framescourer, May 1, 2008 9:31:09 AM CEST
I guess shots is hormonal. This is fine, cheap but sharp.shuffle76, May 2, 2008 3:35:29 AM CEST
this video is great. sro is wack.lex halaby, May 2, 2008 7:30:55 PM CEST
I liked it. Found it pretty funny actually, so I don't see the reason for the hating when there are so many horrible videos out there these days at least Jonnie always brings something new and different.your good twin, May 5, 2008 6:18:50 AM CEST
What is this, some viral marketing joke-hate? Most people don't make posts both on their own blog AND on another site to talk about how horrible a video is. Or to say it is such garbage that no one could possibly find anything to like. That's so over the top as to come off awfully fake. Nice plant.familiar, May 5, 2008 8:37:12 AM CEST
It was not Encyclopedia Pictura. Hence it was crap. I think we know SRO's MO.This was a fun (if flawed) video that had more conceptual depth than most of the pretty pictures we're shoveled in the name of art these days.
Based on the comments over at SRO, the vitriolic condemnation was no joke. I think it's kinda sad.
