is it me, or is this really really good? (might be cause it reminded me of this mahogany video, which was amazing.)
I'm curious to see what everyone else will think but this doesn't work for me. It feels slow, unfocused, and unentertaining. Truth be told, it comes off a bit masturbatory and still lacks any sort of climax. I only got all the way through because progosk recommended it and I value his opinions and contributions.
I know my sensibilities are a bit too commercial for this style of vid but even so this doesn't seem to be a particularly good artsy promo either...

Loved the Mahogany vid - both of these remind me of the great set piece of Napoleon Dynamite. I agree that it's not quite focused although I'd only want to tinker with the end. That is to say I'd try and find one.
I liked it. But, I'm not quite sure how the musicians, artists, & dancers relate to one another (other than they all appear to be at the same school). I wish it had been tied together at the end.
