Ever since someone started the Stop Uwe Boll petition Ive been wondering when somebody would do the same thing for Rage. What a hack.
"Yahhh" is actually very good in a Noid-y way.
I think the only reason people dislike him is his name, which reminds me of some retardedly pretentious hardcore band: Dale "Rage" Resteghini. It even appears to be a self given nickname. And his company is called RAGING NATION films.
Seriously, imagine other directors and how annoying they would seem with a RAGE-ish nickname.

I think Dale has some pretty great videos, a bunch of forgettable ones, and some lame ones. Considering the artists he works with, he rarely disappoints.
The name is part of it. The other part is his videos are just really, really bad. Captain what are some of his "great" ones? The worst are the effects, almost as bad as the effects Todd A does in his own videos, i dont know who told that kid hes good at computer effects but hes not. It looks like Community College After Effects projects.

This is the most pathetic post to date on this website. . If you like him or not, why attack a person for working? Just because you probably lost the last five jobs to him, which makes you worse by your judging standards, dont hate the player...fuck your petition.
If you don't like Rage's work, you probably don't like mainstream hip-hop and rock music videos in general. Rage does what he does well, and that's why he gets so much work. His videos are hugely successful in terms of video play on MTV and online. Even if you got a million disgruntled film school dropouts to sign the petition, the labels would still be making a smart move by going with him for mainstream urban/heavy rock stuff.
this petition is in poor taste and makes general criticism weaker on this board. If you don't like Dale Rage's videos say so when they are posted. Don't throw out this childish petition.

I think we've found Dale "Rage" Resteghini's other alias... "Budget". Who else would say his videos are hugely successful? Maybe the music in the videos he directs are successful and by extension get a lot of radio play hence MTV spins but I've yet to hear anyone say, "Hey! did you see that great music video directed by Dale Resteghini? Paleeessseee! Are you serious? The guy is not Dave Meyers, Paul Hunter or Hype Williams by a long shot! He's not even Gil Green (and that says a lot). The secret to his success is no big secret to those on the industry inside. Do you know what a "Kickback" is? I must say, I am against the idea of this petition because I believe everyone deserves the opportunity to work regardless of how they got there. You should never try to deprive someone from making a living. But let's not go overboard with the praise of his artistic accomplishments.
