I love this! A bit too "Seven Nation Army" in parts, but there are so many other enjoyable ideas sprinkled throughout the clip. The band is attractive to me finally.zytonspyke, June 15, 2008 10:37:18 PM CEST
Great fun! Been waiting to watch a good quality version of it. The White Stripes reference is too obvious, but finally they had a fun, energetic, hip video that goes with their music and image. No I'm not a plant.

I've been excited to see this vid since reading this interview with The Ting Tings (where they also talk about the fiasco surrounding their other vid). Honestly, I was expecting more o' the silly fight sequences and I think the vid is the poorer for it. Am I alone here?

did the triangle they made with their hands remind anyone else of a vagina? No, just me?I think the ting tings videos keep getting better, but I wouldn't put this among A&L's best - but only because that bar is so high. Still, it's fun, and they kept it entertaining for the whole time.
That's kind of lame for the ting tings to diss the Sophie Muller clip. I thought they looked great in it. I bet it came out exactly as she pitched, and the ting tings never bothered to read the treatment.

vagina? haha. Every "Edding" must be a penis in your world. Everything i see is a heart.scooper, June 16, 2008 1:26:02 PM CEST
it works great with the track but somehow felt a little bit empty...lisanowak, June 16, 2008 6:03:30 PM CEST

outstanding video. you don't want to look away - would make you feel like you might miss something.I love the way the two of them keep using lights of different color.
they also know how to use digital effects to conceptionally enhance something without annoying the viewer.

it works great with the track but somehow felt a little bit empty...
I would add technically well done, conceptually fits the song but seems slightly; low brow designer blow out.

the band wanted to do a kung fu video but that's tricky to pull off with a short prep time and limited fight club experience. a&l pitched a great idea that had potential to include the fight sequences but i think we'd have preferred to stick to the transitions. still its totally ace.
