wow. like that a lot - especially the looping when you get in close... something about the way it handles that is really really nice.

also kinda reminded me of 'And She Was' by Talking Heads, which has got to be a good thing.

Neat stuff. I got a bit lost trying to pilot it though. :P Also I wish Gord Downey had song the whole song. That man's a national treasure. -j

Interesting concept, really great that the director is pushing the limits of what a promo can be. His Arcade Fire video was perfect! I sent that one to all my friends.

This one didn't work for me, though. a bit too messy.. The interactive vs. controled aspect of this video could need some polishing IMHO. And also it would've been nice if the zooming was seamless all the way instead of cutting closer?

igor: the dogville ref. is quite a stretch. i agree with you the seamless zooming should have been imperative, also the sensitivity needs to be adjusted.

hear hear senilitynow! dogville was a big-ass feature film (and more importantly, wasn't trying to be interactive) and this, this is a video for a basically unknown band. so what's that about, eh?

although a lot of what else igor was saying rings true.

bit for what it's worth, i felt like the jerkiness was adding something. feel like seamlessness would've been quite dull, and dunno really what it would've added?
