This is damn cool video, how was it done? Very hypnotic and has to have one of the best chorus lines i've heard in a long time. camillejaval, 3. September 2008, 15:05
how the hell did they do it? so clever. one of the most beautifully filmed videos i've seen in a long long time. it could've got boring, but it just doesn't. i just checked out their other stuff, pretty damn wicked too: www.oneinthree.tvdavidwilson, 3. September 2008, 15:41
Awesome! So slickly done. To have kept the effect running through the whole video so smoothly is quite an achievement, and the constant change of locations keeps it fresh, and keeps you guessing as to how they actually did it!Great track as well.

funny, based on this, more maths here

op art alright, but definitely not up my alleyfor some reason, i feel the urge to turn it off for fear i may throw up
lusk81, 3. September 2008, 16:22
The first five comments are plants.Video and song are boring. The effect is near nauseating and doesn't seem to develop in any way.
Adamlaurie, 3. September 2008, 16:31
Not really into stuff like this, but actually really liking both the track and video. The graphics work is very cool. Thirdman, 3. September 2008, 16:41
Personally I liked it. I felt like I was falling down the rabbit warren into Wonderland. The effect does repeat itself but is kept interesting throughout by colours, textures and compositions within the frame.
There is an oppulance and darkness in the images that reminds me of Tim Buton or Jean-Pierre Jeunet.

nice one!

I thought was brilliant. the visuals in each shot all did wonders for this stunning videorobodrug, 3. September 2008, 19:19
Slightly repetitive, could have done wiv a bit more dash of humor methinks! Still n' all, very original!bodysong, 3. September 2008, 19:34
colonel blimp sent their entire office to antville. welcome all you very new, very vocal posters. i'm sure we'll never see u login again.LongtimeListener, 3. September 2008, 19:39
Hey, I'm a big music video fan, been checking out antville for years, just never happened to post until now. And the reason is: THIS IS THE BEST VIDEO I HAVE EVER SEEN! I JIZZED IN MY PANTS VIEWING THIS TRANSCENDENT MASTERPIECE!!! MICHEL GONDRY IS A FUCKING HACK, THIS IS THE REAL DEAL!!!my name is legion, 3. September 2008, 19:51
looooooolnu_shuz, 3. September 2008, 21:20
this is great stuff. an original effect is not always enough to make a great video, and here i think oneinthree have nailed the art direction and photography really well. very well thought out. bravo.CBli, 3. September 2008, 21:36
I always thought OneInThree did great work but this is incredible! I love this video and think it's the best I've seen all year so far. Wow!framescourer, 3. September 2008, 21:40
Stopped watching after a minute and a half. The spiral-frame coup is overplayed and so gets in the way (visually and thematically) of anything else worthwhile. What a shame.Alanedit, 3. September 2008, 21:41
Good one, longtimelistener. Good sense of humor.
Problem is, whenever anyone makes a video followed by an idea Gondry's influence is hard to deduct. He's got the whole conceptual artsy fancy chilish lo fi crayola zoom into places magical illusion genre down. Great video!

Loving the new video! i was mesmerised whilst watching as well as trying to figure out how the hell you did that!! I like the fact that there was a strange fusion of different art styles like magritte and dali or maybe the hyponotic effect makes me see it that way! LolGreat job guys!
captainhairy, 3. September 2008, 22:40
decent but the spiral thing gives a headache pretty quick - too bad there's no breathers.all these fake comments are ridiculous...
kernal_pimp, 3. September 2008, 22:44
getting real cozy in here!i like the video. fun. simple and effective. is the guy's moustache a post effect too?
also, what happened to OneInThree's Sam Sparro video?
Ruth1122, 4. September 2008, 00:51
Excellentness! The video suits the track really well and the slightly pulsating movement of the frames is kind of hypnotic. Must've taken ages! kansas, 4. September 2008, 02:01
Technically well done, but as said above i stopped watching half way through. Got boring quite quickly. Probably could cash in and make a TVC out of this though. Anyway I second the notion that there is way too many obviously fake comments here. HILARIOUS!
I mean WTF is this:

Hello Chaps,Long time lurker here but had to come out and give the old boy his commendations. The video is mesmeric and a braver effort than a cavalry charge at cannons and muskets.
Jolly good show.

Sorry everyone, we used the Antville comment link rather than the Vimeo one to send the video out to our friends. We certainly won't do that again. We've sent another email out asking that only people who have been using the site for longer than 18 months comment in the future.Apologies again,
OneInThree.

no apologies needed... wicked wicked wicked. although yes, did feel a little sick.hints of Seven Nation Army in there? but lovely tune too.

i really liked this song, but the video made me pretty sick...robodrug, 6. September 2008, 01:53
On the other hand some wag could have started the Hadron Collider particle accelerator early by the looks of things! See you Thursday if we're all still 'ere
shatner, 11. September 2008, 20:55
the song is one of the best, most original tunes I've heard in a while. the video is great too. I'm really glad that someone has made a class video for this class band. I believe that it could have been better if we'd seen one of more similar trick utilised, with the spiral used more sparingly. the last few seconds with the jerky move from side to side for example. but it's all very easy for me to say that from my couch. all in all this is a very well made video. nice one guys.
