This is a re-shoot. The orig clip was done at the same time as that Commmon/Pharrell track 'Announcement' by Lil X. Obviously, they have gone in a new direction.
legion - check out what Hype is doing these days. This is right in line with 90% of the master's current output.

I guess UMC was suppose to be the viral counterpart to "Announcement", but I guess there doing a bigger push for UMC. Thus, Hype Williams.

I have a feeling both KATT and HYPE had considerable budgets, even though both vids feel like they were shot for under 5k.
- i still have high hopes for the actual video. i really like where hype has been going lately.

The 35 second teaser is wayyy better than the full Katt Brown version. Never put them as equals.

Is it better because it features CGI effects? It's a matter of taste, true_fiction. Both versions have their strenghts, depending on who you ask.
This song has alot of energy behind it. The KATT version displayed none of that, despite many dance sequences.The Katt website even says that the video was quickly put together, and it shows. At least the HYPE version matches the energy and futuristic sounds of the song. But its only 35 seconds, so we dont know.
