cool.
pretty damn pleasant, that was.
holla back, harken back to days of old a bit.
i just realized music videos bare no significance in my life. goodbye.
quicktime version here
Strong colours, immensely watchable, but am left thinking Oh no! They are trapped inside Fort Boyard!
Much improved work from Krozm, things are functioning on several levels here, although it’s hard to go wrong with an AIH track.
If these guys could mature filmically they could really start to punch above their weight. The editing is far far more effective on this than previous outings however they seem stuck in the same film student "establishing wide, medium of action, close up of singer, back to wide" purgatory.
Finally congratulations for getting the comping right this time! The door/dry ice stuff is lovely and stands in stark contrast to “that” visible turntable….
(I’m sure there are oodles of references beyond Fine young cannibals and new order but I can let that slide for now)
i'd say more like uk.youtube.com and uk.youtube.com. What's the irrelevant pagan fashion all of a sudden?
yes, Vidbot, I'm sure there are oodles of references beyond those two. In fact, I'm sure those weren't even thought of as references by them. Those two videos just came to mind when I watched them, is all. So, no need to come back later and NOT let them slide. Let them slide, I say, let them slide.
Yeah, Pagan fashion and colored people, mix n match to your hearts content.
Fort Boyard! Thanks for mentioning that, I couldn't remember the name of that show the other day. It was gooooooood.
The track obviously elevates the video here. Although shot well, it reminds me of a run-of-the-mill 80's video that I wouldn't care to watch again. If this very same video was made for a more irrelevant artist, no one would care to even comment.
it can be the cousin of this video:
silly u2b links above: Fine Young Cannibals - She Drives Me Crazy (Philippe Decouflé and/or Pedro Romhanyi) New Order - True Faith (Philippe Decouflé) Late of The Pier - The Bears Are Coming (Saam) Metronomy - Radio Ladio (Daniel Brereton)
