Sloan - Witch's Wand (dir. Scott Cudmore & Michael LeBlanc)
Another great one. Fits the band nicely with the cameo as well.
Scott! This is beautiful. Love it!!
very nice. beautifully shot.
one of the better vids i've seen in awhile, scott. leblanc is a hell of a dp. i'd love to see you make some films.
cinematography's very nice, i think it's film etc but mood and story-wise i like [??? what the fuck is its name, it's the second time i'm mentioning it; it's some sort of gathering, then he rides a horse; it was shot on hvx-200] better
thanks, guys, i appreciate it. leblanc is a hell of a dp, as well as a producer - he produced this on top of shooting and co-directing. he's also a really good soccer player.
legion, i think you're thinking of this phosphorescent video. that's one of my favourite records of last year. that video wasn't a reference point for us, but i can see why the comparison would be drawn.
that's the one, thanks man
well, hell, don't she got some smoldering looks? Dang. Girl is foine in that one shot. You know the one.
Guys, you fucking murdered it! This is so awesome. Takes all the artfulness and beauty of the recent hipster love of pagan ritual (or whatever the hell they do at Burning Man and MGMT shows) and, while retaining the purity of that desire, totally pops its bubble with the intrusion of the reporter.
Supercool.
nothing like a good wide shot in a snowy landscape. foine
Summer's not icumen in, now don't sing cuckoo...
