Grizzly Bear "Two Weeks" Dir: Patrick Daughters
thumbs up! So bizarre and weird.
Though this would suck balls if the song wasn't amazing.
But - the song IS amazing, so the slow, creepy visuals work great.
Surprising, confident and sweet. Dig the demonic early Beatles vibe. :) I had hoped the video for this would be a bit more tender though.

I really liked that. The music video compliments the song in just the right way.
very refreshing.
Awesome!
well, it's hard to say you saw that coming
haha, gotta love a video that can make you laugh out loud (LOL™) with just a really creepy rosy-cheeked smile.
did they make their eyes bigger for this? It almost appear is if they digitally made them look more like children. www.onlineseats.com
Pretty cool video but I agree with Captainmarc - if this record wasn't so damned good I wouldn't give the video a second look.

blisssssss
Starts out great but the "finale" didn't do it for me. Post-light-effects with no on set brightness compensation always looks odd.
Great! I thought of Tim & Eric immediately, which is a good thing.
Killer song, wild vid. Very Albertin like no?
I 2nd the Tim & Eric comparison.
Great job!
More disturbing, the 'Black Hole Sun' eyeball effect or the collection of vintage cardigan sweaters?
uh-oh. here's a HD youtube link (+ MP4) until a MOV surfaces over at Directors Bureau.
Not sure about the demonic early Beatles vibe or Tim & Eric comments. I thought they looked like Ventriloquist dummies, no?
I've developed serious appreciation for this song thanks to it's companion clip. Initially, it struck me as too boring and not worthy of its hype...
I listened to the song like ten times and really just couldn't get into it.
The best videos are the ones that do their job: they translate a song into something visual -and sometimes, that makes it easier to understand and really fall in love with.
^It feels kind of weird saying I fell in love with it since it is such a creepy video. :O

@Kee -- If you want to point at references for this big-eye'd/surreal face/real-life anime look, Me Company did it (many) years ago.
Ex.
Also: Definitely NOT a performance video.
