Death Cab for Cutie, "Little Bribes" (dir: Ross Ching) / unofficial
Hm. While I appreciate all the work that went into this, and there are some pretty shots, I really don't want to read a music video.

okay, if this r. ching hasn't seen the softlights video, well then I'm pretty sure he'd be telling a lie.

I've seen the same concept at least three times before but I do like the execution. vidbot, May 28, 2009 6:32:56 AM CEST
Perhaps he didn't see the softlights video but saw this instead.www.hillmancurtis.com

Its certainly what Moyes saw before he made softlights

via p4k:"[Ching] uploaded the time-lapse-crazed clip to the web, and next thing you know, his beloved band declared his video totally official. Plus: A press release tells us Ching has been hired by DCFC label Atlantic to film another project."

I heard a rumor that Ching's next video involves drawing stick figure unicorns over live concert footage.otc, July 6, 2009 6:47:03 PM CEST
Watching this just reminds me of all the little things that made the softlighties video special. The pacing of the words here is to fast for the concept, half the time you can't even read them before they disappear.vidbot, July 22, 2009 5:45:37 AM CEST
I heard a rumour that the next video by Kris Moyes will appropriate the work of a little know artist/animator/filmmaker apply it simplistically to a track and then take all the glory as if he came up with it originally.
