For the first time budget, in agreement. It's gotten out of hand.

If the directors wanted to get bold, they'd do a take off on the same idea but mix up the ethnicities. White, black, latino, asian. Not all malnutritioned people are white in NY. Fact.

But, on the video front, it's pretty well done. Satyricon or Caligula? this is the apex of that aesthetic:


         
Definitely MGMT inspired. Mix of "Electric Feel" meets "The Wicker Man". The jumping back and forth between day and night seemed a bit odd to me, but yeah, some nice shots. I like the song too. That lead singer guy is trippy.
         
at first i hated it because everyone on camera looked so self conscious, and that drives me crazy. then i kind of got into it and enjoyed it lots. i realized they were all just sort of having a good time and it was a strange mix of funny/not funny and that was charming. then that day/night thing happened and it made me hate it again, because that couldnt possibly be intentional.
hot dog scene was my fave.
ambivalent? kinda.
         
No excuses. This is lame.
