Lenny Kravitz + JUSTICE - "Let Love Rule" (Dir: Keith Schofield)
it's finally here!
king of the "why didn't i think of that??!!". brilliant.
decent idea and kinda fun but maybe not enough to be the unique concept in the video. and it doesn't fit the track at all.
this is hot
sorry. Don't like it. First: I hate that song. "leeeeeeet looooooove ruuuuuuule"... shut the fuck up, Lenny. PLEASE. A Remix, really. NOOOOOOOO. Please no. Let this song die. Please.
Sorry ;)
The Video: Well. okay. This one is better: "A Thing For Me" by "Metronomy" vimeo.com
This video here: hmm. nice idea for a 30sec spot. or... i don't know. But I'm very excited to see the "Charlotte Gainsbourg & Beck" Video... "Heaven Can Wait".
Final cut of this came out awesome.
@luk how can you even try compare this video with the Metronomy vid...the videos are not similar in the slightest!
I didn't like the texas chainsaw massacre, snow dogs was a much better movie.
ok and now what? where's the music video? what did i miss? where's the making of? what about the laughter track?
Conceived and executed this baby so beautifully. And what about that laughter track? I added my own.
@bryanmatic: It just came up into my mind. Why? hmmmm. Maybe... because there is text onto a screen... and the text interact with the person. If you don't see a connection... its your problem.
I like it. Looks good, nice concept and a bit of fun.
I wouldn't be surprised if Keith got into features from this
Fuck the haters. this rules.
I thought they stopped making such ingeniously simple videos. From the man who brought us Hard'N'Phirm's "Pi", i wouldnt expect any less.
erm... can't win'em all keith. saw josh forbes in the credits. who else is in there?
I gotta go with the pro- side on this one. It's stupid as hell, but so is the song! Takes nuts to basically liken your song to the credits of a terrible 80s movie. Then the interacting with the credits is a pretty funny choice. Maybe not Keith's best (still gotta be the Supergrass video), but great concept and execution, very entertaining. Win.
Not a fan of Justice or Lenny but that was a great video.
Brilliant!
I'm a fan. Every time it felt like the concept had played itself out we get another subtle twist. Really good.
really cool! great concept
I'm sharing this one on my facebook.
Great, fun!
This was brilliant; the fact that the tracks so awful is what hooked me after the hokey beginning
I dig the song too. I've never been a fan of Lenny Kravitz but for me Justice could produce a couple pages of the phonebook and I'd still be moving.
Videos as fun and simple as this restore my faith in the medium. Plus, most of the negative feedback reads like sour grapes.
this is the first music video i've finished in a while. i think it was constantly surprising and felt fresh. I'm impressed by Keith, and I think this is a very solid video. I'm usually the one hating on the videos you all seem to think are genius. Now I found a video I like, and lots of people are hating. I guess I'm just out of touch with the youth.
@captainbob 16 positive, 3 negative. And the negatives are (for the most part) the usual suspects. I'd say it's being quite well received; "lots of people" disliking it may be exaggerating slightly ;).
Beautiful idea, well executed. Keith hit a home run, and that consistency is what cements a good reputation. Oh, my name's in there somewhere...bat scene, it's fucking hilarious!
damn, way to bust out my stats like that familiar.
I guess it feels like I'm more negative than I am.
Cute video. What a substance-less fart of a song, though.
dope
keith shoulda put antville user names in the credits to up his chances of antville approval... i saw alexa haywood and tommy labuda in there.
video's def not his best.

Hahaha. Nice idea Mike.
Nice! It almost works better if you dislike the track. The sax solo fits well with an 80's ending. Rabbit's foot line was my favourite part. -j
That was awesome, very funny.
familiar, you dick cheese, when everyone zigs, some zag. fuck off.
very clever video!
Nice work Keith! Special.
Fresh little suprise, bloody funny, full marks
sooooooo goood! love the idea!
really good, tone was spot on, Fiercely good
My favourite video of the year
So well executed! It was really tight.
I like the shoutouts to Josh Forbes and Aaron Stewart-Ahn in the credits.
Really great, I was hoping for something awesome and when I first realized the idea he was going with in the first couple seconds I thought it would get old but it didn't, in some ways the "boring" or slow parts are the best cause you realize the rediculousnessness of the conceit and chuckle
very clever and delightful to watch too. :)

lovely and simple. did you edit this, Alanedit? it says on your website that you were co-editor but i can't find any edit credits anywhere? what is a co editor? nice job anyway!
