Flairs - Truckers Delight (Dir. Jérémie Perin)
Warning: 18+ (It makes the Junior Senior videos look like the work of kindergarten kids.)
It was last year when super band/DJs SOULWAX decided to plant this cosmic universe intermission tune into the heart of their Part Of The NYE Never Dies Mix and I knew right from the first time I heard it that it was meant for aesthetic upgrade packaging and here we are in 09 blessed to be enjoying this little deviant atari moaner in both forms of visual porn and aural manipulation.
“The animated video is directed by newcomer wunderkid Jérémie Perin who takes the song’s title (a tribute to those little pleasures that the lonely truck- driver indulges himself in) and elevates it to the next level. Think Spielberg’s Duel + Russ Meyer’s Faster Pussycat Kill Kill! and Marc Dorcel’s wildest fantasies. All warped into an 8-bit Sega era style graphic. And this clumsy and somehow pretentious description doesn’t even come close to what you’re about to see: it’s très funny,très dirty, -très sexy.”
haha, nice.
Awesome.
hhhhhhhectik
awwww isn't it cute!
more GTA than guy101
i think this is the first video since Junior Senior that followed the correct rules of pixel art.
pretty gross, but fun. Song is super boring.
what g'ma thinks videogames are like, or, the perfect medium for a cartoon grindhouse
I adore this video. It fits the song style pretty well. The song kind of reads like a slow building sidescrolling beat-em-up bg track. The animations in this are just so juicy and slick.
One of the best video game style music videos I have ever seen. Great combo of smooth animation and 8 bit graphics.
totally nuts and great. song is boring though.
man, I think the song is perfect, in that, it sounds like how the video feels...or something. I don't know, I've watched this video a number of times now, so now I can't imagine another song lacing those visuals. It's all just so SEGA.:)
Amazing style and editing. Remarkably animated. A great video -- even if saying so I can't help but feel a little sexist.
