OK Go, "This Too Shall Pass," dir by Brian L. Perkins & OK Go
It's been quite awhile, but I finally made another one. Shot by Yon Thomas on the Sony EX3. Recorded by Dave Vettraino and Craig Laskowski. Produced by Shirley Moyers and AJ Schnack.

pretty awesome, better executed than the majority of like-minded one-takers. If I hadnt known better, I would have assumed this was polyphonic spree.mw247, January 12, 2010 11:58:02 PM CET
Its not as good as their last video. Its a nice idea but it just doesn't look very good.luk, January 13, 2010 12:36:34 AM CET
I HATE IT (not th video.. i would love to see the video): "Dieses Video enthält Content von EMI. Es ist in deinem Land nicht mehr verfügbar."booooooom, January 13, 2010 4:00:44 AM CET
great video - thought it might get boring but was highly entertained throughout -how come ya disabled embedding? posted about you anyways but easier the other way.

sorry about the embed thing. it's not my youtube page -- i think there must be some legal thing between the label and youtube preventing sweet, sweet embedment.if you're talking about the crappy formatting of my post here on antville -- apologies -- it's been quite awhile since my last post and i'm dealing with some pregnancy issues here at home that are keeping me from making it the dopely formatted post you so richly deserve.
in short: i have no power and i am an idiot.

I can't watch the first youtube link. I Can't watch the second youtube link.
And search don't work.
"Es ist in
deinem Land
nicht mehr
verfügbar."
Music Vieos are "Promotion for a Band"... Here in Germany it seems that I can't watch every second music video. Its sucks. EMI, GEMA, youtube... I hate it. I will not watch MTV. (MTV SUCKS... if they play videos... they play "lady gaga" and "Slip Knot"...)

nice video ! works really well. i just wish it looked as good as it is choreographed. I mean, i guess ugly video is part of the okgo/viral aesthetic, but i don't find that it helps the concept here.

Really nice one! :)panopticon, January 13, 2010 6:10:53 PM CET
OK Go are on the verge of becoming the first bona fide internet music video stars. This is just undeniably likable, as are all of their other videos. The band is almost entirely sold on the strength of their music videos, which is so rare these days. MAYBE Fever Ray, in a different genre, can also lay that claim. But not as strongly as OK Go.mr. perkins, January 13, 2010 7:05:59 PM CET
ok, changed the link. looks like someone over at the label or OK Go HQ figured out that Vimeo is more imbed friendly. hopefully this will work for more people.LukeAsa, January 13, 2010 7:25:04 PM CET
that was great! I was genuinely surprised by the guys in the gillie suits.pancho, January 13, 2010 7:25:36 PM CET
Indeed the music is not that great, but OK Go videos are always viral fodder. Great job on this one. How the hell did they get the camera up in the air like that, it shoots straight up. Cool.daniels, January 13, 2010 7:35:52 PM CET
superb! once again!booooooom, January 13, 2010 10:39:14 PM CET
no worries about the embed thing Perkins - just weird they do that, also notice lots of comments from my readers that in various regions EMI won't let the video play at all. really dumb.
