Mia Doi Todd "Open Your Heart" (dir. Michel Gondry)
joli.
good to know gondry can still book videos after 'be kind rewind.'
refreshing
that fitted my little render break nicely.
@senilitynow
Mia Doi Todd is his girlfriend...so maybe not.
inspired by a trip to the aquarium perhaps?
maybe this is Michel's audition film for sony bravia. someone needs to tell him sony have left fallon and that campaign is over.
nice ideas. execution seemed a bit sloppy, but maybe it was a tiny budget?
Didn't care about the music, but nice visualization.
kayser_sauze Please take this link down.
sony left fallon? whhy??
If this were anyone but Gondry, it would be getting torn uppppp.
The man is just like any other video director, he needs money to make his ideas fully realized.
Kind of a nice cross between "1,2,3,4" and "Hardest Button to Button"
Meh
horrible music the rest is immediately forgettable. lazy and derivative of stuff he started doing years ago and better
I like it, lowkey human touches are the best.. love the guy touching his head after the spin at the end.. and cinematography was charming! :)

MUSIC: . ARRGGGG... my ears. Her voice gives me headaches. Horrible. The most annoying voice i ever heard. (since celine dion) . VIDEO: . ..well. if it was not Michel Gondry... it could be also some Video Guy from the City. Colored T-Shirts. Nice. Thats all. .
damn... the next 3 hours i have to listen to good music to kill this song. I hope i will never listen to this song again. I HATE THAT SONG!!!
totally charming
I thought that last Bjork video was bad, this makes that one look like the Godfather. Quirky tricks and bright colors just aren't working for him these days.
Total shit. waste of time.
flux article. it explains what i found the best aspect of the video: how it nails some of the specifics of the instrumentation. jon brion should be co-credited.
this director needs footnotes and write-up's now in order to trick the audiences. it wasnt like this before, was it? besides, in 'declare independence' he showed us everything we needed to know about the specifics of instrumentation (and of riots, for that matter)
