Usual boring indie bullshit.

This is one of those dime a dozen ideas trying to be unpretentious but coming off as exactly that.

Special problems sitting around scratching their heads until one of them stops staring at his modified fixed gear bicycle.
'I know... I've got a great idea what if we had a bunch of indie kids just running into each other in a studio then cut it all up in time with the rhythm of the song'

They send off a one paragraph treatment and then ride their fixy's down to the local for a brewski to celebrate their own brilliance.

Special problems alright. Amazing!

It looked nice, but it was pretty one-note and got boring quick for me. Not as fun as the slo-mo fat blokes running at each other from last year (I forget who's vid that was). Sorry.

With that out of the way, I didn't mind this. Solid edit and well paced. Not a big fan of the Red, but the use of smoke really lifts its aesthetic.
         
I can't believe people think this video is 'solid'. Untalented indie kids need to realize that they have to actually come up with ideas rather than just depending on the genre and style.
         
Its in the same pile as that last Dave Ma video for me. Sorry guys but that was aimless and just plain boring.

loving some special problems stuff, I'm with Kansas on that one: great dp, fine stylist, good editor, but no director here.

Oh and the fixed gear riding community deserves all it gets. It's become a fashion accessory for a hive of brainless indie drones.

BTW The people that regularly post their own work and also comment regularly usually say they like everything they comment on. Have you noticed that?
