7d & 5D makes me want to throw up on myself, I really hate the format. Yet to see a video that uses it well, lighting wise. No chat about the video just the whole phenomenon. I'm perfectly fine with the Red. No rolling shutters.

I don't understand why people compare the RED and 5D The RED costs over $10,000 more than a 5D That's like saying "I'm perfectly fine with my Ferrari, I don't see why people drive Fords" I dont think anyone is under the impression that the 7D/5D are the greatest, most perfect cameras ever. It's more about the cost effectiveness compared to the relative quality of the image.

I do agree with you about the lighting in most 5D videos, but I think that in general the filmmaking craft in new videos has gone down the tubes.
