Pitch perfect. Super comp work, subtle with amazing detail.

         

Somewhat reminds me of Massive Attack's 'Inertia Creeps' one. The gory shock & awe treatment has been a bit overused of lately... but still this looks great and tight, Ms. Maandig is quite videogenic and her voice a surprisingly good addition to Trent's dark grooves. Looking forward to next videos & album.

2010 year of gore so far.

         

I thought this was some band trying to sound like NIN and doing a really good job. I can't help but feel nostalgic and love it. It sounds so much like something of Downward Spiral or The Fragile.

I don't think it's a comp. Looks more to me like a life size puppet. Animatronic even.

Really great, spotless work. Looks like the jaw and comped in from another shot, but it's super slick. Even better than the "Two Weeks" Grizzly Bear video. Best narrative video in quite a long time, cool tricks without being gimmicky, and a haunting tone. A grower, one of the year's best.

The upper part of her face is just frozen and tracked on, and slightly warped where necessary. But, Trent is shot and burned on the floor? Is that a new trend: artist destroyed? One half of the band destroying the other half. A scapegoat?
