wow! wow! wow! definitely the best part of the series!!!
This is fucking awesome!
Incredible. Wolfes brilliance keeps on shining.
Reminded me of 'A Prophet meets Rize'
Nice work.
you wonder whether they were smart enough to shoot some linking dialogue scenes - this collection of videos (they are shooting one for every track, i hope?) would play great as a movie/musical on the silver screen.
i think these vids have been some of the best work coming out of the uk lately, really great stuff - go on dan!!
anyone have further production credits??
like how unashamedly grainy they are and the choreography is really smart.
good commissioning too (fer once!! - some one with some cojones and not the usual hackery)
according to the artist himself there'll be a musical feature film.
great video btw
For those who haven't seen:

All three are great.

So, so good
Wow. Great performances. Is it just me, or is this a much more coherent and effective take on police oppression/brutality than the MIA video. I dug the MIA video in its way, but this is stronger, IMO.
this is better than the MIA video?! not by a longshot....
I'm w/ Panopticon, this conveys oppression in a much more emotional way. But to be fair, the MIA song didn't open itself up to much more than the pounding drumline. this song has more range and more room for cinema.
Put me down for this being better than the MIA video.
story's very confusing in this one.is he killing someone at the prison or is it flashbacks? great trilogy but this is my least favorite.

I think people are turning on the M.I.A video because it's the cool thing to do. Here at Antville. It's got a lot of notoriety and got a lot of people jealous. Many are video makers here, so of course that is bound to happen. So any video with militant themes has got a big shoe to fill. This to me is well made and great cinematography but a powerful video it ain't, song is shit (so is M.I.A's) but it's more confusing than anything.
i agree with victus - it does feel confusing in the way it's cut. can't really work out what's happening at times.
still, small gripe. doesn't really matter. there's gutsy video making going on here, and if we're going to compare to m.i.a i'd say this one feels conceptually stronger, more original.
with these 3 films i think he's created something really brave. good on you dan.
I'm not jealous of the MIA video. I think they are both strong pieces, I just so happen to think this one is better. Can't we all just get along?
