The Jamaican Minister of Culture must'a had the likes of Million Stylez, Gentleman and YT in mind the other month, when she was broadcast on Jamaican radio entreating squabbling Reggae factions such as the likes of Gaza & Gully to treat Reggae music and its audiences with a bit more intelligence and respectfulness when voicing cuts, stating though the music was an original product of Jamaica, it could be lost forever to other countries, who's artists were cutting more concious lyrics

And she might well have a point with "slackness" (hard core sexual Lyrics) being the dominant topic of many tunes, whilst the "counteraction" format, (an artist will lyrical diss another who usually counters it with lyrics of their own) once employed such notables as Prince Buster vs Derrick Morgan, or I Roy vs Prince Jazzbo, plummeted to an utter complete low of late, with the tunes?? being little more than volleys of foul mouthed tirades launched from and at artists of opposing camps

Guess it sort of came to a head with Vybz Kartel sticking pictures of Liza Hype giving him a blow job on u2b, being the gentleman he is!
Liza then suffered the ignominy of being booted from the Gaza Vybz Kartel-led Portmore Empire...
Probably the plan all along!
