Junip - Always. Dir: Andreas Nilsson
ok what
i feel like at least half of andreas' work features a moment of some guy screaming for absolutely no reason.
verfremdung's what.
I detect something interesting here. Nilsson's work and also Megaforce's Tame Impala have a parallel in European sub cultures, they capture that experience in their work. It becomes the common life thing (like guys at a bar) and interest that over say, glossing over it with perf. With a smaller market, you can do this sorta thing. It's an emerging thing, where one could go to say Budapest and film a video, post there, post here, for a fraction of the budget and max prod incentives. They become mini movies developing the director's vision. I'm partial to this over say, a performance video which in the states is much more common to marry a concept. Gotta allow directors to expand, right? yes. And this is interesting for taking a band and just sorta documenting them and as well as introducing them. I never heard them till now.
It is a good interpretation of the song, good video.
much better than his few previous videos. love it. great pacing. a very elegant and mature work. kind of a classic in the making me thinks. vimeo link
Yes weirdly subtle. So simple yet so retarded and funny.
Quality. Andreas œuvre truly sets the standard high.
This was very fun! I agree, pacing was very good and loved the main guy.
