its great, but if i had one criticism, i'd say that after a while, its like being in a moving image version of tumblr, or ffffound, which i know was the criticism levelled at schofield's beck vid, so i don't know, its awesome and at the same time banal.

         

sexy, i agree with the above comments, especially the tumblr ffffound thing. oversaturation of cool imagery. nicely done tho. thumbs up.

Well... I think this is a super pretentious video that take inspiration from other artists to take them nowhere. The problem is not to take inspiration from others... as Godard said: “It's not where you take things from—it's where you take them to." Sorry but i don´t think there is talent behind that... You can make similar videos for any song only scrolling on ffffound. Well, I think talent is another thing...

Well I recognised a bunch of images and ideas from this vid but was thinking that at least some were original, however I was flipping through fffound today and came across this image which made me think that the whole thing is just taken from fffound and tumblr which is exactly like schofields vid.

I liked this video a lot and I am glad it was made but feel a little weird that not only were all the images directly referenced from fffound but that another director had already recently executed this exact same concept.

So is this a double reference? Firstly to the artists / photographers work viewed on fffound, secondly to Keith Schofield?

I mean I've always wanted to do a similar concept for a video but just thought schofield had beat me and I would say a lot of other people to the punch. Why then did 'canada' get away with it?

Oh well, good job I guess.
