i was mixed when i first saw this because of my immediate resentment towards mindless worshipping of chicks, cars, jets and money... overall excess for the sake of those things... but it's so stylized it's almost like a dream and it works. it's hyper reality and it almost crystalizes everything that is wrong with our societal ideals. the hundreds being thrown in the air, everyone wasted, fighting, smoking cigarettes, the false sense of glamour, fame and success. the ominous technical military police surveillance. it all paints a very real picture of where we are.

this obviously wasn't the intention, in any way shape or form, but it's why i appreciate it so much. i think of how we will look back on this.

the shots are pretty slick and kahn is on the road to redemption from absolute douche hackery... but i have a feeling it's only because of dre and snoop dogg's infinate coolness.
