This link is the best (from metafilter via progosk): www.bohemian.com
masterpiece
(that bohemian link = doubleplusgold, cap'n.)

Ugh!
Facebook music.
haha
Bob Dylan just covered this song...
(saddy - it's downright spooky how awesome that is.)
saddy/progosk: the dylan one is fake.
what? no way man - U da fake!
TGIF! i cant even think of something to write.. this is amazingness... the rapper cameo couldn't be a better surprise. FUN FUN FUN
uhm... new artist on The Lonely Island's new label??
This video is pretty horrible. I mean, the song's lyrics and arrangement are really simple and dull, just like the 90 per cent of the modern pop music--Britney Spears, etc. The picture itself is boring and generic--but also very badly shot and lip-synced. Also I don't get all this "rap/hip-hop" trend--why do they need to put a black guy into every single video? Sounds racist to me.
reminded me of this: www.youtube.com
do. miss.
legion: ha ha!
21M on YouTube, currently at #21 on iTunes singles chart.
(glimpse o' the future, folks...)
fun fun fun fun
wtf? 21M hits?
This needs to be spoofed.
i don't get it. is it popular b/c its so crap & funny... chocolate rain style? or are kids genuinely digging it??
The girl has apparently been dubbed the worst singer ever! Stories featuring her lack of talent, hate comments or how many u2b hits the video has had, started appearing like a plague in every arse wipe tabloid here in the UK (presumably the same is true in the USA)
When they first ran the story it was a low 2.5 million So its no real mystery really Capt', how its now mushroomed to 21 million, everyone who sees the story just has to watch the clip at the very least!
And no doubt its given added impetus when nob'eads like the Daily Mail headline "Simon Cowell reveals he 'loves' America's most reviled teenager"
Slick bit of promo if u ask me, despite any questions regarding its relevance or quality
Good job, now it's trending on twitter.
been trending for days, Moses; meantime the mainstream media also licked her wounds, and she took it all in pretty savvy stride. (currently 30M YT, but down to #45 on iTunes singles chart; peaked on friday, much?)
Not a good singer. Her voice is monotone, sounds like a rap song.
@ cms13ca - is that you Randy J ?
Well she's about to be a millionaire so who's getting the last laugh
@ captainhairy No. Are You Jimmy Ray? :}
Fuck that shit.
At first I thought they were going for some sort of tim-and-eric-styled obvious spoof on MTV Dance music/music videos but failed because it was too obvious and not smart. The next day I thought they were going for some sort of spoof on tim-and-eric-styled spoofs by exaggerating their methods of reductio ad absurdum to the extent it becomes unfunny. Now I feel like a lol-it's-irony-you-don't-get-the-post-modrenism teen hipster prick.
Gang Fight - Friday as interpreted by a bad lip-reader. (double-don't miss.)
death metal version: www.youtube.com
48M on YouTube, currently at #18 on iTunes singles chart.
still where it's at: Stephen Colbert Sings "Friday" on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and The Roots - www.youtube.com
76M YouTube, #25 on iTunes singles chart.
got to hand it to her: her Greatest Hits is full of win. (Whereas MTV's attempt to nudge their way in with a feeble artist's commentary is quite teh fail.)

God I love the Internet.
165M YouTube - make of that what you will...
