Korine's version is 2006. Moyes' is a good extension of this technique made with more random fashionable 2012 imagery. Although the woman wearing the Niqāb reminds me of this other Korine video also made in 2006. www.youtube.com

I definitely remember another black and white video using the faux-stereo strobe effect a couple of years back on here. Can't seem to find it though.
Good coupling with the omninous on-screen presence of Kirin though in Moyes' case.

Regardless of who created it, I think we can all agree on one thing: it's kind of a dumb effect.
i liked it in the last two Mint Julep videos from those german guys...but here it's too creepy for my taste.

i like moyes' cuz its unholy and it fits the music so well. its not just the style, its the content as well as he messes with topics such as islam vs christianity, zoophilia, chiild abuse, wife beaters, pagan rites, sex and death, eggs and bacon
