This is really really good.

         

I loved this. Die Antwoord unfailingly push boundaries and their videos are a bevy of eclectic visuals that still remain connected by the controlled weirdness of the band members. I wish more acts were willing to be this unique.

Lady Gaga tries but there's something more consistent and interesting about Die Antwoord's approach. I'd like to think that there is more thoughtfulness behind their work - an intellectual underpinning to all of it. Or, if one leans towards being cynical and dismissive, maybe they just like weird shit.

i wouldnt see them tackle anything serious. yes, this was fun, but bubblegum fun. but intellectual underpinning? maybe ure reading too much into it. i see them and all i think of is 'garbage pail kids'
