I love when music videos completely provide any integrity that could be missing with a single and its promotional package. This is a perfect example of a video "making a song better".
Other examples of this are very prominent right now (i.e. "SexyBack" - Justin Timberlake, "When You Were Young" - The Killers). I am digging the string of cinematic videos, though.

The many faces of Radiohead's Creep
I have written a piece points to some extraordinary videos that use Radiohead's Creep. One video is of a baby who is still in his crib but is able to sing/scream/whine along with the song. There are also three separate videos remixing Phantom of the Opera with the song. Of course, there are many music videos using the same song. Check it out.
