Alkaline Trio "Help Me" directed by Josh Forbes
Alkaline Trio get the steampunk treatment in this whizbang action video. Ghost Town Media kicked major ass on this FX heavy beast. Ambitious as hell, but we somehow pulled it off. And yes, that is Kat Von D from LA INK and John Ennis from MR. SHOW.
Rehearsal Space: A-Trak
Alain Macklovitch aka A-Trak began his music career in Montreal at the age of 13. Influenced by his older brother David (of the band Chromeo), he began scratching records on his father’s turntable. Before long, his DJ battles became the stuff of legend, culminating in A-Trak winning the DMC World Championship when he was just 15 years old. Since then he's accumulated numerous awards and has found success both as a DJ and a producer.
In this episode of Rehearsal Space, A-Trak discusses the pros and cons of being Kanye West's tour DJ and the appeal of combining hip hop and club music. He also explains how Apple’s Logic Studio gives him the control and the tools he needs to create music at home. Despite all of his successes, A-Trak doesn’t look backwards. He’s too busy working on his debut album, running his record label Fool's Gold, producing tracks for Kid Sister, and planning what’s next.
